On your food, history and culture tour, you’ll sample carefully curated tastings at several local, independently owned establishments that reflect our Taíno Indian, African and Spanish heritage. Aligned with our mission to support local and contribute to Puerto Rico’s food sovereignty, tastings will change seasonally. During your immersive experience, you may try a cup of freshly roasted, hand-picked coffee, perfectly roasted pork, flavorful rice and beans using Grandma’s recipe, a creative plantain-focused dish, and more! Since you’ll be in the rum capital of the world, you’ll sample two rum cocktails! You’ll get much more than just bites; our tastings are generous, giving you a real taste for Puerto Rican cuisine, leaving you full and satisfied.
Along the way, you’ll catch a glimpse of El Morro Fort and see the second oldest cathedral in the Americas, a centuries-old convent, stunning architecture, striking plazas, historic fortifications, and many other sites of cultural significance.
