Summer Deals at BLT Steakhouse

BLT has been one of our favorite steakhouses in San Juan for years. The service is impeccable and the food is on point. They are consistently on top of your steak’s doneness and always ensure it is cooked to your liking. How many times have you ordered your steak medium-rare, it comes out medium-well and no one cares? Too many, that’s how many!

This summer, BLT is offering a 3-course prix-fixe menu at just $55. Their BL3 Temptations Menu is available everyday of the week through October 31, from 6-8PM. Unlike many tasting menus that could cost as much as rent, BLT’s summer menu is a steal. Apps include ceviche with lump crab, scallops, snapper and octopus as well as grilled double-cut bacon with blue cheese and honey. There’s a wedge salad on the menu too.  And its exactly the kind of salad we like – wonderfully seasoned with candied walnuts, blue cheese, bacon, onions, tomato and gorgonzola.

For the main, choose from the classic filet mignon, crispy skin snapper or chicken with lemon-rosemary stuffing. Sides include 3-way potatoes, truffle mac and cheese and asparagus. Skip the asparagus and go with the potatoes or mac & cheese. You can diet another day.

Desserts include coconut bread pudding drenched in local rum, seasonal ice cream & sorbet and our favorite – the peanut butter chocolate mouse, it’s like eating a butterfinger!
